Joel--fantastic posts! I'm enjoying reading your thoughts as you embark on this new leg of your journey. I can empathize in so many ways and appreciate the struggle between balancing what you want to do for teachers and what you should do for the district. I know you'll be great! Thank you for sharing your learning. :-)

btw...hopefully see you at Tech Forum?

Kari is a great supporter of sharing information. I have been on the winning end of her kindness.

I'm glad you joined TECSIG. It is a great group of diverse talents. I have learned from everyone regardless of whether I agree with their methods or not. It is always good to hear both sides and then decide. One thing I do know, if tech and curriculum are not talking, both sides are spinning their wheels. Let curriculum drive technology or you are wasting money. Our tech budget has risen as curriculum bought into integration in core areas. Then again, our workload has increased as well. A good problem to have.

Holler if we can help you in anyway. Glad to make a visit to your neck of the woods anytime. Love the Hill Country.
